They were looking to purchase two steers to have as pets for the workers and visitors on one of their sites. 

They were lucky we had two boys left from last calving that were roaming the house paddock looking very cute. Photos and videos were sent off in an email and the boys made a hit and were sold within minutes. 

The process to move to their new home took a while and over 40 emails backwards and forwards. This is never a problem for us, as we only want the best for any of the cattle we breed.  Kelly couriered a bottle of tick vaccination for the boys to be treated. They then had to wait a while for that to be effective. Ticks are not something we have in our area so we were more than happy to treat the boys to make sure they would be fine on arrival in Queensland.

We then received word that one of the studmaster trucks was passing through, so we arranged to get the boys transported to the Selex Yards for collection. After a long day trip they spent a week in Tamworth at the feedlot to rest and recover before the final journey to Stanbroke which would have been as long as the first part. 

We were certainly relieved to hear they arrived safely yesterday and if only they could talk and tell of their adventures!! 

The ladies in the office were excited to receive all their records and health treatments. They were preparing to celebrate their first birthdays!

Kelly is already hand feeding the little white boy. We are happy to say these boys will have lots of attention over the years. Happy days!
