Since this time Ennerdale has been actively involved in the Cattle Industry - visiting highland folds in their homeland Scotland, throughout UK, in several Australian States and around the world.

If you are after the soft, luxurious feel under your feet, then you won't be disappointed with one of our highland Hides. All hides are tanned professionally during mid-winter when the animal has a very thick full winter coat. The hair can be up to 4-5 inches long in parts tapering off to 1-2 inches. These highland hides will become family heirlooms and passed on through generations!

These full length Highland Cattle Horns have been polished to the highest level possible and present with a lacquer like finish. True Artisan Craftsmen take their time and use time-honoured techniques and expertise hand crafting the horns to finally apply a natural bee's wax finish to achieve a mirror like surface. Ideal for use in Designer crafted ornaments or for more practical purpose such as Powder horns or traditional drinking vessels. Make no mistakes, this is a natural product crafted over time to achieve a stunning result. Organic in nature, eco-friendly, non-toxic and biodegradable, these horns are decorative and functional items.
The Highland Horns are shaped, crafted and polished for a fine sheen. They are then coated with natural and eco-friendly products which seal the external and internal surfaces, the internal coating means the horns are suitable to use for drinks such as beer, wine, spirits and mead. (milk based drinks are not advised).
