We have always been free of the NT821 gene, and our breeding program has been guided not by chasing short-term show ring advantages, but by carefully considering pedigrees, type, and soundness to ensure lasting improvement to our fold and the breed as a whole.
Since the outset, we have also undertaken parentage testing as part of our commitment to transparency, accuracy, and integrity in breeding. This long-standing practice is a cornerstone of what we call “The Ennerdale Guarantee.”
